In general terms, I consider this course really useful. I think I can manage to do many things regarding business environment. It was worthy to learn how to develop my own résumé and cover letter . I wouldn´t say I have a 10 but I have improved a lot and that´s important.

The hardest part of the Simulation Discussion was the selection of the type of business. It was hard to reach agreement among ourselves. On the other hand, I think recording was without any doubt the most exciting part of the simulation.

There are many interesting benefits of using social media in the workplace:
- A company can target a wide audience without spending too much money  in advertising.
- Social media  improves the image of   any company and therefore its reputation. 
-  As we share photos and thoughts with friends , companies can  announce special offers , make important announcements and keep in touch with their audience.

Blog Activity 2

I think in business English not only grammar but also punctuation and spelling are important. If I write a Memo for example, the reader may become distracted by my poor spelling  and he/she will not pay attention to what I wanted to inform. It might also put professionalism in doubt.

When we write a résumé, we tend to overlap the information. So, I think the most difficult part is to sum up and put everything in a concise and precise way and that’s what I tried to do with my information. Also, it was kind of hard to identify the skills.
